1. My Not-So Fairytale Life, by Julie Wright
I bought this book my first year going to the teen writers conference because the author was just so fun and helpful (She is still my favorite author on the panel). Its probably my most warn out book because i've read it a bunch of times and my sisters have also borrowed it. Its a mormon romance book. So if you aren't into that kind of thing just don't try. But if you are its a fantastic very inspirational story that you won't regret reading.
2. Enders Game, by Orson Scott Card
This book made me fall in love with reading again. The Characters are great (Ender is my brother, and i'm naming my daughter Valentine), the story is deep, the writing itself is amazing. Trust me, just read it! oh and NEVER watch the movie! The movie butchers it (only movie version of a book i've actually screamed at). Once you've finished Enders Game go read Enders Shadow because it is also awesome.
3. Warriors, Erin Hunter
Ok this one is for the younger ones, but it was my favorite as a younger one. It can be summed up in four words... EPIC. CAT. WARRIOR. ADVENTURES! oh yah. I love this series.
4. The Chronicles of Narnia, by C.S. Lewis
This series is so amazing. Its so simple and wonderful. I love all the symbolism in this book series. It really helped me spiritually too. Its a beautiful series, my current favorite.
