Homeschool Room
I want to have a big family and homeschool. I also want to do it in an orderly fashion so a room dedicated to an environment of learning and creativity is very important for my future home.
I love the idea of big tables that can have multiple crafts and projects going on at once on them. The look of refinished lockers is really fun and can be a good way for each child to store their individual stuff. and may I just say reading nooks are the best!!
Kitchen
A while ago I watched a show called Fixer Upper (go watch it!) and may I just say they truly made me fall in love with the white subway tile backsplash look. Open shelving is also very much a favorite. Chalk boards are also very fun. Something I have wanted in my kitchen since I was very young (inspired by Daddy Day Care) is a breakfast nook/ restaurant booth. They're just so cute and cozy.
Entry + Living room
Simple and bright with lots of natural light, that is my living room style. Book shelves, tall bookshelves, bookshelves covering every wall!! Mwahahaha!! beautiful old fireplaces, and oh my would you look at that rounded hobbit like entry door! its beautiful...
Master Bedroom
Cozy cozy cozy... ahh. That is how I want to feel when I enter my master bedroom. Fairy lights are essential. More books and a secrete hide away just for my own personal work/rest space.
Exterior
I've always loved big old houses. Especially ones with big rap around porches. More fairy lights!! A fun big yard with lots to explore. Fun garden to work together in, and we will build our own fun tree house. I just discovered that you can make a natural swimming pool/pond and it looks amazing!
Hope you enjoyed my little future house tour. Now go be excited about your future home!
